Transiting Neptune conjunct USA Progressed Sun

What Most Astrologers Missed in Analyzing the 2016 Elections:
Neptune and the Russian Interference

While attending astrologer Shelley Ackerman’s lecture, “The Roaring 2020’s”, at the United Astrology Conference in June 2018, she mentioned that most of us were focused on the candidate’s charts, but in light of the Russian interference now at play, she suspected Neptune of having played a significant role in the 2016 elections. This rang a loud bell for me. I had done quite a bit of research on the current Neptune transit Conjunct the USA’s Progressed Sun and felt that transiting Neptune not only was deeply involved in the election and the Russian interference, but will continue to be a powerful influence until December of 2019.

Transiting Neptune in Pisces moved within a 1° orb conjunct the USA’s progressed Sun in May 2015, and although at times they are 3-4 ° apart, they keep coming back together. The last time they will be within a 1° orb is December 2019. During this 4½ year period, Transiting Neptune will exactly conjunct the USA progressed Sun seven times. I was blown away when I saw this spread out over the years and it certainly helps to explain the surreal times we are experiencing in the USA. Transiting Neptune also trines the USA natal Sun and progressed Jupiter in Cancer, giving us hope that ultimately we could have a spiritual rebirth.

The following information is not shown in link below, but is also interesting: Donald Trump’s natal Pluto/Chiron midpoint @ 12 Virgo 29, and more importantly his natal Jupiter/Pluto midpoint@ 13 Virgo 45, are opposed by either transiting Neptune or the USA progressed Sun from June 2016 through January 2019 (using a 30’ orb).
